CE-marking

From July 1, 2014, workshops and contractors who manufacture and supply structural components and kits in steel at a construction site in Sweden has to be certified in accordance with EN 1090-1.

LagerKomponenter is already certified to this standard.

In addition to mandatory CE-marking of components and systems also means that the standard components are designed according to Eurocode 3 (EN 1993). Even loads on structures shall be in accordance with Eurocode 1 (EN 1991).
In addition, the declarations of performance of components and systems is established.

This means that CE-marking will be mandatory for all structural components in steel delivered to a construction site in Sweden. The party responsible for CE-marking must have a certificate in accordance with EN 1090-1.

To maintain certification requires periodic inspections by notified body.
